Step 1: Cut Your Video Clip

  1. Select the Razor Blade tool from your timeline toolbar.

  2. Make two cuts along your timeline to isolate the specific section of the video you want to adjust.

  3. Switch back to the selection mode and click directly on the cut portion of the video clip.

Step 2: Activate the Transform Tool

  1. Locate the Transform Tool icon located in the bottom-left corner below the main video preview window.

  2. Click the icon to enable on-screen transformation handles.

Step 3: Adjust Sizing & Framing

  1. Click and drag the dots on the corners of the video frame to scale or resize the footage.

  2. Pro Tip: If the corner control dots are cut off or hard to see, click the viewer zoom dropdown above the preview screen and zoom out (e.g., to 25% or 50%) to expose the control handles clearly.

  3. Reposition or frame your shot as needed.

Step 4: Finalize Your Edits

  1. Once your shot size and framing look balanced, click the Transform Tool icon again to turn off the control overlay.
